Linda Clarke B.A.Psych, Dip. Couns and Psych, Msc. Psychotherapy, Reg. Pract. A.P.P.I

Linda commenced her professional career in the insurance industry as an Underwriter, working in Dublin and London. Throughout her career, Linda was responsible for staff training and development in a number of areas.

After 16 years in the insurance industry Linda left to pursue her interests and further education in the area of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.

In 1993 Linda undertook a BA in Psychoanalytic Studies in the Dublin Business School graduating with an Honours degree in 1996.

Between 2000 and 2004 Linda attended the Tivolli Institute to complete a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy after which she completed a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy in UCD having trained in The School of Psychotherapy in St. Vincents University Hospital Dublin.

Linda has worked as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist in both private practice and also in the voluntary sector where she works with members of the homeless community.

In 2011 Linda worked as a guest lecturer in the DCU (Dept of Nursing) on the MSc programme in Intergrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has also worked as a Student Counsellor with NCAD for a period during 2012/13.

Linda has served on the Executive and Training committees of APPI (The Association of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland), the professional and regulatory body for Psychoanalysis in Ireland. She is also a Registered Practitioner member.
