Linda Mackin MSc, BSc, DPM, DPC, MCIPD, MPSI

Linda is a Director of CJHNetwork and has leads on psychological and psychometric services. She has concentrated on Talent Management, Personal Development and Retention issues. She works with Teams at all levels in organisations to help improve both individual and team development. Her new interest is in Families and business particularly in SME’s. Linda has also gained Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.

Linda’s first job was with the Housing Executive in Belfast as a HR Graduate Trainee. She gained her HR qualifications at this time and moved to the Probation Service as their first, HR Manager. She was responsible for setting up the department and providing, a comprehensive, HR function independent from the Civil Service.

On moving to Dublin, she returned to full time education to pursue her interest in Counselling and has worked in this area since 1991. This work includes individual Counselling for both personal and career development, the use of psychometric tests to assess interests, abilities and motivations and facilitating teamwork. Linda taught on NUI Maynooth’s Extra-Mural Counselling Skills programme. She previously worked for the Open Business School, tutoring on their Human Resources modules. Linda combines her work with CJHNetwork with the role of College Counsellor in NCAD.
