Aim and Approach

The PC&D Workshop is a programme for training participants how to coach an employee in order to achieve a behaviour change or performance improvement
Participants will learn the difference between coaching, mentoring, training and counselling. We introduce coaching models and active listening.  These skills are developed to maintain rapport with the coaching client.

Objectives

On completion of this programme Participants will be able to:

• Align the Leader’s role with the business strategy and to focus on the competencies needed to increase personal, employee and team performance.
• Identify who needs coaching and create precise plans that will be put into action back on the job.
• Create a personal development plan that will identify a coach who will support the Leader over the next year.
• Review the coaching framework and relate it to the six types of talent. 
• Identify performance improvement areas and the best learning and development approach (70/20/10) dependent on the needs of the individual and/or team

• Participants review main lessons learned.
• Workshop evaluation and feedback.

After the workshop

Participants will have a one to one coaching session with the facilitator to review learning and develop a plan to consolidate and apply the learning within the company
